Anodize Racking MarksUpdated 6 days ago

Racking marks, also known as rack contact marks, are the small, visible marks or indentations left on the surface of a metal part after it has been anodized, due to the electrical contact points with the rack used to hold it during the process!

These marks are a byproduct of the electrical current needed for anodizing and are considered a necessary, though sometimes undesirable, aspect of the process!

You will find these if you look closely on your mill! Fear not, they cause no harm and we're working on making them less discrete!
